RS485 通信应采用专用屏蔽双绞线电缆进行手拉手连接， 并且将屏蔽层单端连接地，一般采用终端匹配的总线型结构 ；RS485传输距离超过500m，在传输总线的两端需要 2个终接电阻，其阻值要求等于传输电缆的特性阻抗（一般为 120 Ω )。
